"As the name implies, set in Douro valley with great view of the river below. We used as a rest stop, with no touring. Beautiful location with nice sunrise and sunsets. Nice room, but steps to and from meals and pool. Best be fit to enjoy the area."

"beautiful property 15 minute walk from pinhao. Wonderful restaurants on site. If you need a taxi seems to be difficult to get and we had to walk there. Staff booked taxi for the next day to get back to pinhao but were reluctant to do so - suggested we call them!!"
