"The stay was really lovely! The host is amazing and so kind. He was really helpful the whole time, from check in to morning coffee and breakfast to getting us things like a bucket of ice. Always with a smile and kind spirit. The room was beautiful and the location can’t be beat. Great stay."

"I stayed here for one night after walking 15 miles from Pontevedra on the Camino de Santiago
Pros:
-The women at the front desk was very kind and let me check in 3 hours early
-The price is hard to beat as it was 35 euros for 1 night for a single standard room with king bed (the rooms are also very spacious)
Cons:
-You feel like you are entering and exiting a maximum security prison as you can only enter and exit the premise through a gate that has to be opened by talking to person at reception on an intercom
-My room was in poor condition: there was a small hole in it, lots of hair in the bathroom, and the heating was not working (Thus, I was rather cold since it was 55 degrees F° outside).
-The motel is about a 15 minute walk from the center of Caldas de Reis
Overall, not a bad spot to stay while on the Camino as it is a very good price but many things need to be improved and the rooms desperately need a remodeling/renovation"
"The room had mold at the ceiling of the bathroom and room. The door of the bathroom opens against the toilet. You can find rust in some of the fixtures and everything was old and in bad condition. At breakfast there was almost nothing and the coffee tasted bad. "
