"We had a very nice stay and the house was well equipped. The garden is large which gave the children space to run around and the kitchen had everything we needed. Most importantly the beds were comfortable! Location is superb if you are looking for somewhere quiet and rural but we did end up driving a lot for attractions further afield. Plenty of parking. When we called about a few issues, the owner came within 10mins and both were resolved immediately. The home-made jam was greatly appreciated. Thank you!"

"Beautiful property. Very attentive hosts. Delicious breakfast. Well worth a visit! Just outside Falaise which is a lovely small town with good restaurants, shops and bars. Stunning castle and cathedral! Beware the satnav. Our tomtom took us to the wrong place!"

"The area is beautiful. An unspoilt part of France that has much to offer. Jenny our host lives next door to this traditional gite. She met us on arrival and was hugely welcoming. Throughout our stay she advised things to do and places to eat. We kayaked, hiked, climbed and went on the luge. The gite has all things you might need to stay. We often cooked at home. WiFi was a little slow in some parts of the house but you just have to choose where to sit. 4g was very strong despite it being very rural.l so it didn’t really matter anyway if you have plenty of data. To get bread milk etc is about 10 min drive. Not far but just country roads so you don’t go anywhere fast but you are on holiday so it didn’t matter. The gite is very rural but you can walk down to Clecy in about 45 mins (it’s down hill) although a bit rugged in places so need to be fairly sure footed. And back up is in part very up hill but worth it for the incredible views at the top of the cliff. The gite was a good base for us and was plenty big enough for the 4 of us."

"We stayed here as a group of 3 families. It’s a spacious house so everyone had plenty of their own space and didn’t get on each others nerves. The property is exactly as described, the pool is wonderful and play barn much better than we anticipated. There is a space outside to play football/cricket so altogether perfect for a family holiday. The host and the property manager were amazing and went above and beyond both before and during our stay. Thoroughly recommend."
