I'll start by saying I'm not a huge fan of property management run vacation homes versus owner run ones. But this home by Vacasa was too good to pass up. Highlights for our group were: the amazing 2 minute 'hike' to private creek access with relaxing benches to watch the stream pass by, the hot tub, and the kitchen table (for board games and meals together). The house was large and spacious, so plenty of room for family to have their own space when they wanted to relax. The grill and patio furniture on the deck was great for some relaxing outside time!
Bit of a rocky start as we'd arrived with the power and water off due to an outage in the area (this is where Vacasa did get a bit frustrating, as we dealt with at least 9 different reps throughout our time there until we finally found the local 'feet on the ground' crew to help solve our issues). Fortunately besides the power, our issues weren't many, prime of which was a wasps nest inside the tub on the deck. They eventually sent out pest control to assist which was nice.
All in all a great place to stay, very relaxing, very close to so many of the nearby popular hikes along the Columbia River Gorge, and within the Mt. Hood region!
