"We really were pleasantly surprised. Though the lodge looks a little dated outside, it is in excellent shape inside, has a great atmosphere, and was an excellent deal. We would definitely stay again if in town."
"We enjoyed our quick one-night stay at Lumber Jills! Super clean, comfy beds/bedding, walkable to main street and had everything we needed. The owner chatted with us upon leaving just to make sure we had a good stay. Appreciated that!"

10/10 Excellent
"Follow written instructions to find the place, GPS won’t get you there. House was wonderful. Host was great. Good communication. We enjoyed the property and the area."
"We appreciated the northwoods log cabin feel of the property, clean room, excellent breakfast, access to the hot tub/pool area, easy parking, and the charming gathering space across from the front desk, as well as on site gift shop. The staff was exceptional."
"Kristin is a fantastic host. Always replied quickly. For individuals who have issues with stairs or stability issues it is a little trickier especially if they plan on using it as fishing cabin it is a tad tricky but overall fantastic cabin. Loon Lookout is the perfect name for it."
