"Parking was not easy (for us at least) middle of nowhere (quite literally)- so no food options and we missed the restaurant. breakfast was good!!!! we had a bathroom in our room which was AMAZING!!! we were so surprised we were so happy! no heater in this room so very kinda inconvenient to try and wash some clothes if they got dirty from an excursion. but overall very spacious, nice staff, good breakfast. would stay again"

"This guesthouse was amazing. The shared bathroom was kept immaculate all the time. Beds were very comfy. Nice to have a sink in the room. Thora was a very welcoming host and her homemade jams at breakfast were super tasty. Very comfortable. Perfect location off the ring road very near the National park and glacier lagoons. Very pleased with our stay."

"Great property to stay at if you plan on driving to the east side of Iceland. Super quiet. The facilities were well kept and had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. Grocery shopping and gas wasn’t too far away in Hofn. Great views out the window ! "

Breakfast had the essentials (coffee, tea, breads, spreads, eggs, meats, cheeses). Location was good for visiting Black Diamond Beach and the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon. There weren't many dinner options around, so make sure to plan that in advance. Area was also dark enough to catch some northern lights. The shower...
