Great little hotel, with lovely staff, who gave us our room, shortly after noon, even though check in at 4 pm, and even brought all our luggage into our room. The breakfast was fine for a small place.

Overall this little hotel was perfect for our last couple of days in Iceland. The location is close to many necessities if you’re needing to travel by foot like I was. And it’s right next to the ocean. It was cute and quaint. The staff there were helpful and just a phone call away any time we needed them.

Never saw any staff - not at check-in, check-out, or at breakfast. However, our needs were met. The room keys were sitting at the desk when we arrived and we dropped them in a basket when we left. Someone set food out for breakfast at 4AM and the choices were good. Overall it was a good one-night stay.

Nice location just a short walk from shoreline, block and a half maybe to a 24/7 grocery store. Had both European and American outlet access for recharging. Quick (5-10 minutes maybe) cab ride to KEF. This was an emergency booking for us and we were glad to get something clode to KEF but it turns out Keflavik was a delightful town in itself with restaurants and bars, touristy souvenir shops and a walkable path along the coastline. Hotel Jazz turned into a pleasant final stop on our Icelandic adventure

The hotel is totally self check-in and self check out so you don’t see a human being. We knew that ahead of time and it wasn’t a problem. The room was large. The bathroom was great. The whole hotel was very clean. It is very close to the airport so that’s why we chose it. I have to say that breakfast was a total fail. The coffee machine did not work, which is not a good thing where my husband is involved at 5:30 in the morning. The food was adequate at best, but the eggs seem to have been rotten. So bottom line good place to stay to be near the airport but very bad place to count on having breakfast.

Easy check in and clean room. No staff around but we didn’t need any. The breakfast was a great bonus. It is in easy walking distance of several restaurants and bars as well as close to a path along the water. We would definitely stay again!

This was a fine hotel and we enjoyed our stay, but the access was confusing. We arrived late and went to the hotel. They said to use the lockbox to get the key to enter since there was no one there. No problem, right? Well, when we entered the code and opened the box, there was no key in there!! We freaked out because it was 1am and the town was deserted. After nearly having a panic attack, we realized the door was open! Hahaha. A sign stating as much would have been nice. But once we were in, we got our key and went to our room. No problem. The free breakfast the next day was awesome! Overall, thumbs up for Hotel Jazz.

In general, everything went pretty smoothly. They were very accommodating at letting us check in early, as we were exhausted from our overnight flight. Our safe was broken. And the only microwave was in the large dining room. But it was locked after 10 so couldn’t use the microwave in the evening

Not good value for the high price we paid. We were grateful for the early 4am breakfast. The whole place was too warm and very stuffy. The building is dated and could use a freshen up. The bathroom smelled of mildew.
