FossatĂșn Sunset Cottage
3.0 star property
Borgarnes
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (40 reviews)
"We loved our stay at the Sunset Cottage! It was one of our favorite places we stayed during our 10 days in Iceland. The cottage itself is located over a hill, several hundred meters away from the main buildings, and provides s lot of privacy. It was quiet and clean with wide open views of the countryside. We had breakfast on our last day ~$21USD/person), and it was great. We also ate at the restaurant onsite for several dinners so that we could enjoy the lovely waterfall view and delicious food....

These were my favorite Icelanders
the people were nice too, but the horses were the friendliest. Not sure exactly where this was taken – there are horses EVERYWHERE and we stopped to visit with lots of them.
