"I loved my stay in this cottage. It was surprisingly roomy for its size, bright, clean and had everything i could possibly need. I would absolutely recommend The Halibut House to anyone looking for an incredible stay on the coast of Maine. I'll probably return."

"The cabin was very inviting when we arrived. Check in was extremely easy. We had a very good stay at the Mainly Cabin. The host was quick to answer questions. We don’t currently have any pets, but we wish we had found this cabin when we did. We had many adventures while there and enjoyed the deck. We did not use the kayaks, but might in the future."

"Lovely place right on the main street. Beautiful view of the water and the bridge to Campobello. Easy check in, super communicative host, and a great coffee, fruit, and bagel set up for the morning. And the sheets smelled so good! Highly recommend!!"

"The pictures do not show how amazing the property is and the hosts were very gracious. The house is perfectly situated to watch the (24 foot!!) tide changes and well appointed with modern appliances. To see that amount of water come and go in regular intervals was unique. The sunrises and sunsets were also incredible. This property is a modern artist's retreat and it was cool to see Linda's artwork throughout the house. Make sure to go into town to visit nearby Lubec for lobsters!"

"Best host I ever had and i have been renting VRBO's for over 20 years.Stacey provided great recommendations for places to eat and sites as well. Her place was very, very nice, secluded and we loved the water view.Stacey also got back to me, always in a timely matter and made sure we had whatever we needed.Beds where very comfortable and the house had all the supplies you would need for a great vacation and we could get fresh Maine lobster close by either from a lobster coop type place or in a local restaurant.."

"Geno is a great host, he was there for check in and very helpful throughout our stay. The place is wonderful, tasteful, well done, and fully stocked with what you need. The balcony and view from the balcony is great. Same goes for the sitting area in each bedroom. If you’re thinking about renting it, do it."
