Quiet vacation apartment according to Chinese Feng-Shui teachings with water bed

Our vacation apartment is about 60 m2 large. It is suitable for 2-6 people, it has 2 bedrooms (1 bunk bed or a double bed, 1 waterbed and 1 extendable coach in the living room). The living room is separated from the kitchen through a partition. From here, you can get out on a large, covered terrace, with a wonderful garden and view upon Grünten. The Chinese Feng-Shui teaching means the harmony of colours, the combination of wind and water. There is a satellite TV and a radio with CD, of course. The kitchen is equipped with modern gadgets. In the bathroom there is a shower with WC, towels and linen are included. Storing space for bikes and skis is available. Our vacation apartment is located on the foot of Grünten, which is also called the “Watchman” of Allgäu, in a small part of Rettenberg. Thanks to its central location you can reach many points of interest in a short time.

Hiking, rock climbing tours, bathing: The possibilities for hiking & climbing in the close vicinity are various and you can reach them by car in less than 30 minutes. Even the neighbouring Tirol is only a 30 minute drive away. You can make guided hiking trips with the mountain school (Bergschule). Our mountainous world has no boundaries: you can find here the Oberstdorfer mountain, the Hintersteiner mountain, and even the mountains Tannheimer and Lechtaler. There are a lot of cable cars and chair lifts that enable you to make a trip in the mountains, if you are not an experienced rock climber or hiker. It is worth trying! The Starzlachklamm and the Breitachklamm are unique natural experiences, which you should not miss. For the guests eager to bath and swim, there are a lot of open air pools, as well as bathing lakes and water parks in the neighbourhood. The lake Alpsee in Immenstadt is one of the favourite destinations for surfers & sailors. You can reach the Bodensee in only 1 hour by car. There is good public transport.

Entertainment and winter sports: You can use anytime you wish the toboggan run opened in August, which is available in all seasons and it is to be found in the Alpsee ski circuit, with big climbing gardens. Many walking and hiking paths enable you to have a quiet and relaxing vacation. There are extra routes for the ones fond of cyclings and mountain biking. Also nordic walking is popular in our region. In the winter, our region is ideally equipped for cross country ski runs and alpine skiing. All the ski lifts can be reached in only 20 minutes, the next chair lift is only 5 minutes away. The World Cup express in Ofterschwang can be reached in only 15 minutes, the ski jump in Oberstdorf can be reached in 20 minutes. The most modern cable car and chair lift, as well as many snow canons, offer the guests all sorts of snow activities. Even skiing by night on illuminated slopes is possible. There are plenty of toboggan runs. The cross country ski runs are very well prepared and they are a few km long.

The surrounding region: Further destinations in the close neighbourhood are: the royal castles in Füssen, with the famous Musical of King Ludwig (ca. ¾ hours), the Skyline Park in Bad Wörishofen (ca. 1 hour), Legoland in Günzburg (ca.1 ½ hours), the ski jump in Oberstdorf (ca. ½ hour), the Mainau island in Lindau by the lake Bodensee (ca.1 hour), For the golf enthusiasts, there is a golf course in Oberstaufen, ca. ½ hour away, and one in Ofterschwang, in the Sonnenalp resort, ca. ½ hour away.
