The check-in location is separate from the actual hotel and quite far away, which was not clearly communicated in advance. There are also separate access codes for the main entrance and the individual room. "Staff was nice. The room was not spotless, but fine. Shared kitchen was a nice amenity, but could use an update on kitchenware."
"I absolutely love staying here! The location is fantastic, and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. There are also two restaurants to choose from, making it a truly great place to stay. Teplice is the city, and Hotel Monopol is the place to be!"
"This time, we couldn't be accommodated in this property due to the fact we had forgotten one photo ID. We understood that'. The receptionist perfectly explained the rules. The refund was processed by the booking company. That's fine. The strange experience was in the restaurant we used before heading back home. The tip was rounded up much higher we mentioned. It was bizarre. After calling the hotel's restaurant first we heard we need to come back to do refund difference through the terminal...
"Brilliant all around - one of the nicest locations I've ever stayed in for business...and I travel A LOT."
"stayed for three nights for a conference. If you are interested in experiencing an authentic eastern-European hotel built prior to 1989 and modernised in the early years after the collapse of the eastern-bloc, this is the place to go. Great breakfast and overall an ok experience."
