"First of all this is not a 24/7 hands on place at all. The front desk only works from 8am to 10 pm. So if you have anything that you need you won't get it. If the pipe burst, need towels, light bulb you won't be able to get anything ontil that time. So emergency around that time isn't available. Outside my room iheard a loud bang. It was glass that was broken by whom I don't know I was too scared to go and find out. That happened the 2nd night. They need to make that gate higher anyone can jump over that gate or find a way over. It'slike soon you go up those stairs the room is right there. At times the gatewould be open. This place can be a whole lot better. I am shocked at Expedia for recommending this place at all. The staff was helpful in the day when they are around. I have never come across a place like that before. First and Last Time!!!!"

"If you are looking for a beautiful, hillside view of the ocean and airport, this is the place for you! This studio apartment had everything I needed...towels, snorkeling gear, chairs for the beach, a nicely redone bathroom and a kitchen I was able to cook in. It did just have a portable 2 burner stovetop. But it met any needs I had. The staff/owner was great. Gave me a fresh coconut from their property and did not hesitate to offer any assistance with anything. I would absolutely stay here again. On a side note, the roads are steep and have lots of potholes so make sure you take that into account when getting a vehicle (definitely get a vehicle to get around) and the coqui frogs are quite loud at night. All in all 5 stars! "

"I recently stayed here for my birthday. The best thing about this place is the view and the nice floors. I came to celebrate my birthday end of March. This house is up the mountain so be prepared to deal with that. Getting a ride up here & back if you don’t rent is going to be difficult some days! I’ve stayed at other properties that are way more welcoming. There is not a welcome note or goodies. There is no one to greet you. It’s just a turnkey property. I’ve stayed at those, but even then there was a personalized note to welcome you and thank you for visiting with a personalized coffee set up or a few snacks. This place is not inviting. The customer service is lacking. She did have pods for washing, but I did have my own. She has old pots that should be discarded. Also the constant internet lagging and no WiFi or not working at all was frustrating. We could barely get the tv to work. We were in the dark for basically 2 nights. No power! Not able to flush the toilets which is connected to their system. No AC. Nothing! I came back on the evening of my birthday to this & couldn’t even enjoy my leftovers, music, drinks. Waste of food and money. While in the dark we were getting ate up like crazy! I have so many marks from the bites on my legs from that trip. She needs to exterminate. The cleaner did give us spray bc we saw ants and other lil bugs all around. Worst place I ever stayed & would not return. Please invest in your property & Wi-Fi. Back up generator is a must! "

"Positives: Property had everything mentioned AND the roaring sound of the sea to help carry you off to a deep sleep each night. Beautiful property with beautiful views. Negatives: Unresponsive host, lack of transparency regarding the regularity of island wide power outages that knock out not only the power, but also hot water access, and internet (Wi-Fi), lack of cellphone service due to the the aforementioned and the limited number of towers on the island, and the property not having a backup generator for the regular island wide power outages. I am so very glad that I decided against purchasing groceries Monday when I got in. I would have been SUPER pissed about the groceries spoiling due to the lack of power for a large part of the day Tuesday. Due to the unpredictability of the regularly reoccurring power outages, I decided against buying perishable food items during my stay. Suggestion: Adding a back up generator to the property. "
