"this placc is amazing. An amazing hotel that was resurrected and refurbished with lots of original tile work, very comfortable rooms, great pool and honor bar, classic medieval tight parking and streets. Well situated to jump of and explore this extraordinary town full of kind and interesting people and sights. Great breakfast made by our sweet Filipina hostess. Super helpful front man (sorry to have forgotten his name) gave us a lovely tour and orientation. Wish we had stayed at least 3 nights in Estramoz."

"The Montimerso Skyscape was serene. Surrounded by nature and old medieval towns, it was the perfect mini honeymoon getaway. The staff were so nice and welcoming. We felt so at peace. The infinity pool was nice to relax by in the hot afternoons. They have the 2 cutest dogs on the property that come to greet you. At night you are filled with beauty night sky’s and the calm of nature."

"A really comfortable stay. Easy to park in the road outside if you are willing to keep the car within inches of walls. Well appointed, but you need to be aware that it is a back-to-back property so has no window in the bedroom area at the rear and the front window is small. However. we thought it was excellent for our week; quiet, but very much a local village atmosphere. Brilliant local restaurant; good food and wine and good value at 30 Euros for a big meal for 2. Good location for our sight-seeing and beaches on the large reservoir."

"This is a beautiful, peaceful hotel. The rooms are large, quiet, and comfortable, and the staff are wonderful. It would serve perfectly as a retreat and invites meditation. There are no TVs in the rooms, but there's a big TV in a common room. The building also houses artwork and small museums. It's a bit isolated. The restaurant wasn't open the night we were there, but we had a lovely dinner at a restaurant 700 meters away. You can also go to the castle for dinner. The hotel breakfast was wonderful. "
