"Beautiful hotel overlooking Etna . The food is great and with lots of choice . Brilliant for my wife who uses a wheelchair and the accessible room was really good . Difficult to find with the sat nav provided on the hirecar so beware of this . Use your mobile to find it . Has to be driven to as out of the way but what a view . "

"The property is in a residential area. Big gate and on the post , a small signage of the hotel’s name. We spoke to someone on the intercom at the gate, the gate then opens. The property has a rustic charm. Some reviews we’ve read mentioned that the property needs renovation or updates. We think they don’t, it’s part of the charm (for us anyway, who are just visiting Italy). We only stayed for one night so didn’t get to use their swimming pool but it looks okay and romantic in the evening. Room was clean. The free breakfast consisted of breads, 1 type of cold cuts, 1 type of cheese, preserves and drinks -juices, coffee,tea. Within walking distance from the hotel is Coop grocery, Deli Shop and a restaurant. There could be more but we didn’t walk further. We enjoyed our short stay. "

"Excellent service from the friendly owner. Convenient parking. Cozy room with comfortable beds. The villa is fantastically located in the hills and you'll get stunning views of the Catania area. A few minutes drive from the town of Nicolos where we found great food and good vibes. Overall, very good value for money. I would highly recommend staying at Villa Aresco to anyone visiting Etna area."

"The room was large, decor was interesting and overlooking the garden/pool area (although you cannot see the pool from the room). Dinner was great at €30 per person. The property is very pretty in a quiet area although quite close to the main road so you can still hear the cars. We were given towels for the pool. And the pool is very nice, and gorgeous at sunset. There was a bad smell coming from the ensuite. The AC was very noisy (crackling and popping sounds all through the night) that woke us up a couple of times. Wifi was horrible."

"The Villa is beautiful, updated, comfortable and very quiet. The staff were amazing. They take time to talk to you, make you feel at home. The food I must say was the best we had in Sicily! The dinner menu's were amazing. This part of Etna is beautiful. I highly recommend staying here!"

"Idylle und Ruhe pur! Der Ausblick ist einfach atemberaubend! Bei der Ankunft wurden wir mit einem Prosecco und Schokolade überrascht. Das Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Unser Bungalow war sehr modern und wirklich sehr schön. Leider funktionierte das WLAN nicht gut. Das Essen im eigenen Restaurant ist sehr lecker. "
