"I absolutely loved my stay! The house was cozy, comfortable, and I felt completely safe during my time there. I especially enjoyed the peaceful sounds of nature all around. The pier was beautiful and such a relaxing spot, and the tree swing quickly became one of my favorite parts of the property. Everything about this place made it the perfect getaway. Just a small tip—bring mosquito repellent to fully enjoy the outdoors!"

"And all the hotels we’ve ever stayed in this bed was the most comfortable bed we’ve ever slept in even the bed at home is not comfortable. Room was very nice."

"We LOVED our stay and it was so relaxing. We traveled with an infant (5 months) and it went great. The Jacobs were so generous and offered us an early day check-in and late check-out free of charge. The sunrises were EXTRAORDINARY and the property is fully stacked with anything you need but might forget. Ex: we forgot our bug spray and found one on the property! The property is clean, kitchen fully functional and well stocked with cooking/serving wear. Freezer has an ice maker and that was great. Notes for future travelers:- The property is small, think trailer house. So if you have tall/large travelers, this might not be the place for you. My husband managed to be okay, but was not able to be in certain parts of the property."

"Property was amazing. My oldest took advatage of having his own place with the separate house. Everything you needed was there, just bring your food. Kitchen had everything needed, the "smoke shack" was great, rather you were smoking or grilling food or cooking up breakfast on the blackstone! Two kayaks and one inflatable were awesome to have! Firepit (just bring somenwood) and grabpots provided were a plus. Decor of the home was great and very private area plus having your own little beach area to enjoy. Really enjoyed the stay and would book again! Host was excellent to communicate with!"

"This place was perfect for our family vacation. It was so secluded! The views were amazing, the pool was perfect, and the house was clean and exactly as described. Lori was so sweet and was available for any questions! There are tons of games and outside things to do and we caught plenty of fish and crabs off the dock. The one day that was rainy we took a little trip to the compass complex to do a ropes course, arcade and wall climbing with the kids. There is also a movie theater there with deals on Tuesdays. I don’t recommend the restaurant there as the food was just ok. "

"Great stay and fantastic views. Felt like we were isolated, yet only 10 minutes from Kilmarnock. Enjoyed the great blue heron, seagulls, nuthatches and humming bird that were around the property. Large rooms and plenty of space to spread out."
