"Our family stayed a couple nights to experience the Coos Bay area. The location is great and very quiet. The host was very accommodating and available if we needed her. There were a few games available for our kids which they enjoyed. We were also able to see a family of deer walking by a couple days which excited the kids. "Near the beach, short walk was no problem. Definitely a beach shack, perfect for us! Well laid out, very easy to get comfortable, Altho the floor is concrete so took a while to warm up the place. Also the sheets were crusty :/ and we had to change them, but they had extras east to find. They seemed laundered, but not clean. We would stay again, but we like quirky little shacks :) The most uncomfortable part was communication with Vacasa. A little expensive for what you get, with all the fees."

"I’ve stayed at a lot of places over the years and this was a treat. Far larger than the pictures reveal. The decor was tasteful and not too busy or overboard on a theme. Felt like a home away from home. Kitchen was great. I really appreciated the fenced in patio for myself and the dogs. Neighbors are good country folk. "I loved this apartment; it was so homey and comfortable and nostalgic, especially the screened porches on front and back. I would have loved to stay there longer. My only problem was that the host didn’t contact me until the last hour even though I repeatedly emailed and called and I spent a day being nervous that we wouldn’t be able to get in. I understand not giving check in instructions too early, but it would have been nice to get some reassurance that I did have the apartment confirmed."

"This accommodation was a large heritage home made into nice sized apartments. This apartment had a nice sized kitchen with all amenities. Coffee and treats were left for us . The bedroom was simple but the bed was very comfortable. A white noise machine was in the bedroom if needed. We spent a few evenings watching a movie and felt very safe. Parking was provided for us in the back of building. Highly recommend the beautiful Japanese garden and Shores Acre!! Then we went to Newport and watched...

"This hotel should be rated higher!! I think the poor reviews were from before the renovation. Everything about our stay was excellent. The lobby is clean and well equipped. Staff is friendly and helpful! The room was clean and comfortable. I was expecting something sad because of the reviews, but this is a happy place :)"
