"We stayed at the Green Grain Bin 7/16-7/20 while our daughter toured Liberty University as a potential student. The location couldn’t be beat; close enough to grocery stores and town, but nice and peaceful! The home was immaculate and we loved the cute cow decor everywhere. The shower was spacious and bed was soo comfy after a long day on our feet. Full kitchen & laundry were beneficial in enjoying home cooked meals at night and washing clothes before coming home. (There’s a Mennonite farm just up the road- Yoder’s- that sells frozen meals- highly recommend if you stay here!). We will definitely stay again if we’re in the area, which if our daughter decides on LU will probably be several times/year. Gorgeous land and hosts were very responsive."
"Property is older and a bit dated, but staff are very friendly and helpful. We had an unfortunate plumbing issue early in the morning of our last day (due to the early morning hour, no maintenance person was available, but the front desk clerk was quick to get us into a different room quickly). Room(s) were clean, bar soap and basic shampoo, conditioner, lotion dispensers and hairdryer available. TVs were a little glitchy (had to manually turn on tv, THEN use the remote to operate. This was true in our original room and the replacement room). Complementary breakfast (with amazingly tasty scrambled eggs and fluffy biscuits, sausage gravy available the first day) as well as the usual selection of bagels, toast, cereal, packaged pastries, fruit, yogurt, and of course your waffle maker! Pool and exercise room available. Daily housekeeping available as well. Air conditioning worked beautifully (a definite plus in mid July here!). And quite obviously pet friendly."
"Breakfast was fresh and tasty. The building was clean and stylish. The accessible room was a little scuffed. The safe battery ran out. Barn door off its track. But the location and safety are excellent."
