"I loved every minute I spent at this cabin. It's quiet and quite private, a touch of the farm, but well lit and safe. Loved sitting on the patio, grilling, and watching the birds over the pond. Comfortable bed, great comfy chair by the window, fine little kitchen, and bathroom with many nice touches. "

"I was so happy with my experience at Richard and Kimma’s home. The hosts were friendly and responsive from the time of booking through the end of my stay. When I arrived, I was given a plate of homemade cookies along with the key and a tour of the house. I was spending the week at the Willa Cather conference in Red Cloud, which was a quick 20-25 min drive away, very easy to get to. I was mostly alone, though the hosts were very kind and let a friend whose hotel booking didn’t work out stay with me for a night at no penalty. As a woman traveling solo, it was nice to know that the hosts lived close by in case I needed anything, but I felt safe the whole time. There was plenty of room, and I loved their sense of style in the vintage decor. Everything was clean, comfortable. If I go back to the Willa Cather conference or am in the area for any other reason, I would stay here again. Thank you so much, Richard and Kimma! "

"We had a pleasant stay here during our week in Red Cloud. The interior is fresh and modern. There was so much to appreciate:- comfortable beds and plenty of shelving/tables to store our things in addition to the closet space- updated bathroom with an excellent shower- supersize televisions in the bedrooms and living room (really appreciated the Smart TV, allowing us to log in to our service provider)- the living room furniture was immensely comfortable; loved the recliners while watching tv!- As the person in our party doing the cooking, I especially appreciated the well-appointed kitchen. We had a couple questions during our stay, and our host was very responsive, resolving both matters swiftly. This home is in a very quiet neighborhood that backs up to a wooded area. It may sound silly but as someone who lives in the city, I appreciated listening to the sound of the crickets each night. Country living! "
"We were given a room that had.a problem with a broken box spring and a TV that wasn’t working… and the room had no phone, but when I called the front desk with my cell they moved us into a room that met our needs perfectly! Nice clean Accomodations in small town Nebraska. "

"Perfect little apartment, charming decor and thoughtful amenities. Perfect for when I'm traveling alone. Red Cloud still has some cobblestone streets and many of the downtown properties are being renovated. Grain trucks can be a little loud during harvest, but I slept well. Got up early to catch the sunrise on the Willa Cather Prairie. "
