Excursion options include Mirow’s castle island, Neustrelitz, Rheinsberg’s Rococo palace, and the vibrant city harbor of Waren. Families will love Burg-Stargard’s summer toboggan run, while day trips to Berlin, Potsdam, or Rostock are easily doable. Water sports lovers can rent boats without a license or charter houseboats, with full marina services including mooring, cranes, and a shipyard.
