"We had an amazing experience at Daffodil House. The hospitality was exceptional, the food was outstanding, and we truly had a wonderful time. Cathy and Scott are incredible hosts who complement each other perfectly. Cathy is a fantastic cook. We enjoyed a delicious mahi-mahi dinner with an amazing homemade sauce, followed by a wonderful breakfast the next morning. Scott has a great sense of humor and an endless collection of fascinating stories. He is an excellent host who kept us entertained and made us feel genuinely welcome. Together, Cathy and Scott made us feel special throughout our stay. The house itself is a beautiful castle filled with history, stunning architecture, and an impressive collection of 18th-century antiques. We stayed in the Safari Room, which was beautifully decorated with unique antiques and treasures from around the world. Cathy decorated the room with great taste and attention to detail, and it was exceptionally clean. We highly recommend Daffodil House to anyone looking for a memorable stay. We will definitely be returning in the future! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"

"We had an excellent stay and the house had everything we needed. The only complaints we have is several of the lights didn’t work like the porch light to the steps to the vehicle, the shower curtain was torn in the second bathroom, and the mattresses were very firm and hard to sleep on. But even with those things we would still stay there again. It was clean and a beautiful location on the lake."

"The staff was amazing met like four different people and they all were great I was there for 4 days 4 nights who was nice had bugs in it but it was nice and warm the rooms were clean plenty of linen only thing missing was a microwave which is in by the front office otherwise it was a great stay."

"It would be helpful to receive the check in instructions further in advance as I was on the road and had difficulty accessing my email and my Expedia app. (Dislike that the Vrbo app is separate from Expedia!) The listing could be more clear that this is a house and there is access to a full kitchen, dining area and pool table game room., all of which is a bonus!"
