Other things to note:
Moreno's cottages was founded by Tessie and Tony Moreno in1923. Uncle Tony built this property by hand over the years and Aunt Tessie ran the business with discipline and hard work. Generations later, The Drake family with 2 parents and 4 teenage children, is the newest owner of this historic vacation destination. Todd & Leigh work constantly to make changes or improvements to the property to make our guests' stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible, yet remain in the historic and rustic Adirondack tradition!

Perfect for a long weekend up for a tournament. Great location, quiet with easy access to both downtowns. Need to take advantage of the firepits next time! Only comment is it would be great to have a ceiling fan or something in the room - more cross breeze. But overall great!
Great location to Saranac Lake and many hiking and kayaking spots, one mountain trailhead right on property. There is also a couple great places to eat/drink within walking distance.
Very friendly hosts! Bethany and Dave greeted us upon arrival ready to answer any questions about our cabin. We shared Adirondack hiking adventures and they recommended a few local restaurants. Even though it was a very quick stay it was a positive experience.
A beautiful little cabin to spend Ironman weekend in. Quaint and comfortable, the cabin had everything we needed. Joyce was a wonderful host. My wife and I are looking forward to another stay on our next trip to Lake Placid.
Cabins are very cute - we had the most peaceful sleep in years - manager of the site is very friendly - make sure you air out the cabin often as it tends to have the 'old cabin' odour - we used baking soda to absorb the indoor odour. For cooking we brought a propane grill as there is no stove. There are BBQs for use. The cabins are very well located, between Saranac Lake and Lake Placid, close to amenities - we were able to walk over to get our breakfast/lunch. Surrounding area is beautiful.
