"The place was better than expected! Larger than we thought and more than what we needed. The rooms were all quite large with their own bathrooms and showers - everyone reported comfortable beds. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and cutlery. The residence is large enough to easily house a large family or multiple families. We played a couple games of pool and watched tv on the multiple tv sets. There is a small washing machine but no dryer but there are two drying racks. The location was great for our WW2 trip - right in the heart of things with not too much driving. We hit St Michel’s Abbey one day, Utah/Omaha the next and then Juno and the British beaches the last. There is a grocery store within a short drive as well as an excellent bakery. Only thing to maybe mention was the lack of some everyday supplies such as hand soap. What we didn’t have was easily picked up at the store the next day. If you are new to Europe possibly have her show you how to lock and unlock the front door! LolDelphine was a great host, and even helped us book a restaurant one night. The homemade plum jam was a nice surprise and was very good!Thanks for being a wonderful host!"

Nos hôtes était charmants et nous ont combler avec leurs grandes intentions. Mon mari et moi reviendrons l année prochaine pour une escapade en amoureux. "Nous avons passé un très bon séjour ! Le gîte est très agréable, et joliment rénové. Bien situé pour visiter les différents sites du débarquement de 1944. Nous étions en vélo et c’était tout-à-fait faisable de partir à la journée (Saint Vaast, Utah Beach…).Bon à savoir : les serviettes ne sont pas fournies (mais possible sur demande d’après ce que nous avons lu dans les autres commentaires), et il faut prévoir torchon, produit vaisselle, savon, papier wc."

"This was an amazing place! Perfectly situated to visit both the D-Day beaches and also the town of Valognes. The house was wonderful for families, the photos don’t do it justice, especially the pool. Marion was great with communication and felt looked after throughout. Would definitely recommend to large families or multiple families for a magical holiday. Thanks."
