"Very unique property. A paradox wrapped in a conundrum' - No check-in desk nor clerk. However, the maids in the morning were nice / helpful - No ice machine nor vending machines. Had to drive across the street for ice. - Check-in is online or via text - Inside of rooms ARE modernized - However, outside has NOT been upgraded in quite some time - NO AIR CONDITIONING! Had to sleep with my two 5' x 4' windows wide open -- Great place to stay in Spring, Fall or Winter - Best price in town on short notice"

"Great staff! Very helpful and welcoming! Only issue we had was that our room smelled like smoke even though it’s a smoke free hotel. We had our kiddos and the smell wasn’t the greatest for them. We didn’t change rooms due to the hotel being booked."

"The cabin provided all that we needed. Though not the setting we are used to, once we took the time to analyze what it offered us, we realized that we essentially lacked for very little. The little something lacking was air conditioning, and the only reason we gave a ‘good’ rating instead of ‘excellent’. Opening the windows and turning on the portable fan was a must in the summer afternoon heat. A second portable fan would have been helpful. Fortunately there were several windows which allowed for not only a breeze, but also abundant light, which we like. The private bath in the bath house was modern and exceptionally clean and spacious. Comfortable beds. We really did not find it to be an inconvenience to walk a very short way to the bath house. A quiet, peaceful setting close to the river was relaxing. A full-size very clean refrigerator was helpful. A short drive into town brought us to shopping and the repertory theaters. We mostly appreciated the tidiness and cleanliness of the cabin and bathhouse."

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful stay at Cobbler's Claim! It's location proximity to downtown Creede is perfect. We walked one block to eat at Kip's and then walked another block to the shops and park in downtown Creede. The house was large and everything was very nice! We would definitely stay there again!"
