"My husband and I stayed here for two nights, it was the perfect little base for visiting the nearby villages. The annex is small but this is highlighted by the owner on the ad, however, dont be fooled by the size. It is big enough for two, clean and fully functional. "After exploring the area each day so lovely to come back to a warm comfy character cottage that had all the mod cons and very comfortable beds . Enjoyed the real fire one wet evening. Cottage perfect for walking around chipping campden. No real downside just the street around a little busy especially at school times but cottages has such thick walls you weren’t really aware of Traffic. Ravens in the trees around cottage could be a little noisy . Overall a truly enjoyable stay at Church Cottage ,"

"We had a wonderful stay at Yew Tree House. The suite was a mini home from home, the decor was lovely and the furnishings stylish and extremely comfortable, especially the king-size bed, all in all everything you need. We received a really warm welcome from our host Pauline, who had a wealth of knowledge about Woodstock and the surrounding area, and nothing was too much for her, thank you. We will return with our friends."

We found the room boiling hot as no windows were opened. There was a fan in the room which made a incredibly loud racket and the doors to the balcony wouldn't open. Room keys are reset overnight so you have to go back to reception to get back into your room. Restaurant is very busy so you must book in advance.
