Cosy Jämtland Countryside 🤗

Family driven place with genuine “Jämtland countryside” feel to it. Outstanding service with a personal touch - I had numerous pleasant chats (way beyond standard “service chats”) with the entire host family. Warmly recommended!

Vi valde mellan att åka mot Östersund eller vika ner mot Härjedalen och fann detta boende. Såg ut som något speciellt och udda. Och det var det. En fin familj som satsar allt på att ge dig en härlig upplevelse. Den svenska naturen gör sig påmind i varje skrymsle och vrå. Frukosten kanon och middagen är ett härligt tillfälle att stifta bekantskap med andra gäster samt ägarfamiljen. Vi var där på lågsäsong men det fanns rätter för de flesta smaker. Det är ingen kulinarisk succé men sammantaget blir måltiden en härlig upplevelse och vi blev mätta. Toaletterna och duschar är utanför rummen vilket är ok för oss. Sängarna har en del att önska men det är renligt. Hotellet är en ombyggd skola och du får resa tillbaka till slutet av sjuttiotalet. Härliga minnen av design för oss som gick i skolan då.

Billigt boende - dyr mat

Trevlig ägarfamilj men de gjorde allt. De hade receptionen, maten och fixade rummen, service mm. Maten Pris som fine dining med sämre mat än findus frysmat. Inga kryddor, ingen sås, ingen dressing och ingen smak. Vi testade allt på menyn men det var samma. Sallad, lax, snitzel, fish and chips, pommes, klyftpotatis.Torrt, smaklöst och dyrt. Rummet Ingen ventilation och bolmande värme på elementet 28-30 grader. Vilket ledde till syrebrist. Vi sa till, dånkom kocken upp med skiftnyckel och skruvade, då värmereglaget var trasigt. Vi var tvungen att ha fönstret öppet mitt i vintern för att få luft på natten, dock stod det. Öppna ej fönstret. Service rum Trasigt biljardbord och det saknades bollar. Pingisbord var ett plus och leksaker för de mindre barnen. Dusch och toalett gemensamt som gymnastiksal med en handfatshandduk som alla ska dela på istället för papper. 4 gemensamma stora långbord i matsalen istället för mindre bord. Opersonligt. Pris för rummet - helt ok. Varken billigt eller dyrt. Finns stor potential för stället, men krävs oerhört mycket för att leva upp till beskrivningen av stället.

Rolig, litt uvanlig overnattingssted med mye sjel.

Flott sted som vi gjerne kommer tilbake til. Tidligere internatskole som var gjort om til et enkelt, veldrevet opplevelsessenter med overnatting i litt enkle rom. Perfekt renhold, gode senger og en veldig smakfull frokost. Vi var ikke klar over det, men det var mulig å kjøpe lunsj og middag. Dette fikk vi ikke benyttet oss av dessverre.

Kul med något annorlunda!

Vi stannade en natt på vägen norrut. Fräscht rum, jättetrevlig personal och god frukost. En gammal skola med förvirrande många våningar, vilket bara var roligt. Rummen hade grundläggande möblering vilket funkade bra för övernattning för oss, kanske inga direkta extra bekvämligheter men allt vi behövde. Samma sak för toaletter osv. Värt att notera; laddningen för elbil är väldigt långsam, så bilen är inte i närheten av full på morgonen. Barnen uppskattade lekrummet. Vi återkommer gärna om vi är i närheten.

Veldig hyggelig og serviceinnstilt betjening, stedet ga oss litt følelsen av leirskole, var ikke forberedt på felles bad og toalett på gangen, grei frokost, grei parkering med lademulighet for elbil mot ekstra kostnad, noe hundeglam fra hundegård i nærheten.

Super bra stopp på vägen till fjällen!

Magiskt bra! Familjen som äger hotellet tog extremt väl om oss som gäster, ordnade till och med extra mat till vår kräsna 4 åring.. som dess utom fick lov träffa familjens hundar och hoppa studsmatta, bättre blir det inte. Det finns en själ, och det är billigt och du får värde för pengarna. Hoppas familjen fortsätter driva och bygga vidare på verksamheten!
