Beach Haven, right on the beach

The covered veranda has a big dining table so your friends can come and sit and drink and ultimatly envy where you're staying. Through the large bifold doors the living room opens up with big comfy spots to sit and TV. To the back of the living area is the kitchen, fully equipped and modern, a large local timber bench finishes the details for chef du jour. Along the access way will bring you to the bathroom, and then the open plan bedroom. Should you not want to get out of bed (which is king size) but still want to gaze at the ocean, you can, the bedroom has its own access thru bifold doors back out to the veranda and the lagoon beyond.

Beach haven is ideal for a couple wanting to treat themselves to something very special, its handy to a number of retaurants and bars on the south coast, and the beach literally 20 steps away.

Home away from home

We had a wonderful stay at Beachhaven. With an idyllic view and everything we needed. Loved the daily visits from the chooks and doggos. We didn’t want to leave .

What a perfect quiet spot! Just feet away from the beach. Everything in the house you require for a wonderful week away. Little G’s takeaway spot just a wee stroll up the road, the seafood chowder is to die for! Thanks Eddie for letting us stay at this perfect spot.

Beach Haven by name and nature

Beach Haven is a great place for a couple to stay, clean and tidy with all the facilities required. Beach front location means a sea view and easy access to the beach with snorkeling a short walk away.

The property was lovely and clean and right on the beach. Shop and restaurant within walking distance. Eddie was fantastic to deal with regarding our booking. Would definitely book again.

We loved our stay at Beach Haven, such an amazing view, the house was lovely and had everything we needed while we were staying there. The back yard is very private and the beach is nice and quiet too. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Amazing little spot and very private. My partner and I had the most incredible trip and the house only made it more enjoyable, we were able to go out for meals and loved the option to have meals to ourselves at the house also.

Clean, secluded, excellent location. Great facilities Swimming right out front. Ate most nights (and mornings!) at home on the table set out under the trees, facing the sea. Pure bliss. Thank you for a great place. We will be back.

Home away from home

Beach Haven definitely was exactly what we were looking for in a vacation property. The house was very clean and fully equipped for cooking or entertaining for family and friends. If you prefer to eat out there are a few restaurants within walking distance. The full patio doors open in both the bedroom and living room providing an incredible ocean view. We appreciated the ease of checking in and checking out, especially with arriving very early morning and departing late at night. We look forward to staying at Beach Haven when we return to Rarotonga!

Beach Haven

Photos do not do this place the justice it deserves. We booked expecting a mid range property and what we got exceeded any expectations. Be aware the whole front of this property is exposed to the elements with only curtains in the bedroom but the way the property is situated it affords maximum privacy. Good amenities, good living space, great outdoor bbq and outdoor beanbags, assured privacy. Eddie was great to deal with. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Perfect space for couple to relax and unwind

The property is true to pictures, private and calming, right on the beach, you are between two channels so care should be taken when swimming however this is just common sense. The property was well equiped with everything we need, you can self cater with indoor and outdoor cooking options. We had a car so access to shops etc was very easy, there is a bus service or you can hire bikes as an option on the Island and there are plenty of eating options and convenience stores all round the Island. Beach Haven was just as it describes, inviting, comfy, friendly - we had the neighbourhood chickens and roosters visit us along with a very friendly and well behaved dog called Suzie. The house is quite close to the road, there is a good pull in for car though you need to try and back in for ease of exiting, there is a litte road noise however this is nothing compared to what the property give back.

Very much a home away from home

This property was perfectly set up for staying several days/weeks in homely comfort. It is in a perfect location to see turtles, or race round in a buggy in the mud. Walking distance to restaurants.

What a relaxing and beautifully positioned place. If you are not a fan of resorts and want a private, beachfront home from home this is a great find. Very clean and really well equipped. Excellent setting with a private front lawn adjoining beach and lagoon (few people use this area so it's like having your own beach); kayak and SUP provided (SUP old but good); well-equipped kitchen where we prepared most meals during our 25 night stay; spacious and comfortable home; no need to pay extra for air con as fan provided; Wigmore's Supermarket 10 min walk along road or beach; Rarotongan Resort 18min other direction. Eddie available on the home's land line. Ideal place for independent travellers who value privacy.

Great home and location!

Fantastic home on the beach front in a great location. Really close to Wigmore’s supermarket which is handy and walking distance to our favourite restaurant Vaima. Eddie was very helpful and responsive before check in and once we’d arrived. Helped us out with a couple of car rental contacts as the island was really busy which saved us!! Great place to stay. I would recommend 100%!!
