Chiuso!

Arriviamo non senza difficolta' perche' la struttura e' in un posto... diciamo inusuale. Si tratta di una frazioncina isolata di campagna a 20 minuti dalla strada principale. Arriviamo ed e' tutto chiuso. Ovviamente siamo un po' perplessi, ricontrolliamo la prenotazione e sembra tutto in regola. Nessun cartello, nessun avviso, nessun numero di telefono. Provo quello che si trova su internet e non risponde nessuno, una voce in islandese dice qualcosa di incomprensibile e la chiamata si chiude. Ora, non sappiamo il motivo per cui la struttura fosse chiusa, Covid o scarsa clientela non importa, se il proprietario sa di dover tenere chiuso per un determinato periodo, non dovrebbe essere permesso fare le prenotazioni online! Soprattutto se si arriva in certi orari e poi si hanno poche possibilita' di trovare qualcos'altro di disponibile in zona! Voto: ZERO!

Clean and cozy hostel

The hostel is located in a small village near the coast, not far from the Ring Road (about 20 minutes by car). There are both private rooms and mixed dorms. As common areas there are a living room, a well-stocked kitchen and many bathrooms (all very clean!!). In all areas of the structure the rules to be respected are clearly and gently indicated and this helps to make simpler and more pleasant the coexistence. The guys who run the hostel are also kind and helpful, a really highly recommended place!

zeer nette accomodatie en goed bruikbare keuken. Iets verder weg van de doorgaande weg. heerlijk rustig. maar in het plaatsje zelf kun je weinig/niets ondernemen. Tip: neem eigen boodschappen mee ivm geen winkeltje in de buurt.

Everything was top notch... Aside from the pillows. The pillows were awful. Kids loved the place and the bunk beds. Kitchen was spotless. Kids playground was a bit in disrepair, but it wasnt a reason we booked here.

Outstanding

Loved everything about this place maybe because we were the only ones there. it is located 15 mins from the main road route 1, nice bakery in the morning close by. Spacious room, tons of bathrooms and showers; the host was friendly and helped us plan our itinerary for next day. He gave us some great advice as far as what places to see and what places to skip. My favorite part of our stay were the duvets, so comfy and warm.

員工可愛又熱情！廁所淋浴很多間且令人驚艷地乾淨！廚房很大，有兩座四爐火可以同時供兩組人馬煮飯！公共區域超級乾淨溫馨！相當令人驚艷的一間住宿！雖然必須從大馬路繞進來一小段路！但路好走且非常值得多花這13分鐘車程！

Beautiful, clean, cozy, with a great location and fantastic/friendly staff. We loved the kitchen and the relaxing common area. The Bathrooms were really clean and private and had great waterfall showers. There was a nice Hotel a 10 min walk away with an amazing full dinner and breakfast buffet if you don’t want to cook in the hostel. Will definitely return!
