The room was in good condition, quaint, but in Williamsburg it fits right in. They did provide a space heater as this was the only means of heat. It worked ok. Breakfast should say coffee and a small muffin. We knew ahead and brought our own breakfast.

This review focuses, mostly, internet issues. The internet is horrible lacking and spotty. They have at least 4 networks you can use, basically none of them work. Needed to go on my hotspot quite often. This was our 14th stay here and the net was always perfect before. No more bottles of water, no coffee maker and the free complimentary wine tasting has been reduced to 4 wines ( 2 cheapest whites and 2 cheapest reds), from 6 and we used to receive a stepped up flight of red. Breakfast was good, delivered to the room because this particular night there were few people there..no problem, that was all good. We pretty much go to the Wedmore whenever we are in Williamsburg and will go back. Nice and quiet and they provide robes, lol. Again, the internet is unlike any hotel experience in the last 15 years. Trying to save money, maybe. I feel badly for the front desk clerks who probably garner most of the grief.

The layout of our room was great for a family vacation. The location is ideal for access to Colonial Williamsburg. My daughter loved the kid friendly amenities like the game room, pool and access to board games through the front desk. Most importantly, though, the staff was so welcoming and helpful. Every person we had contact with from house keeping to the front desk treated us with warmth and kindness.
