"Every staff member I encountered was very polite and happy. The room itself was quiet and bed was comfortable. Hotel is needed a little sprucing up (missing carpet on my floors' hallway and lots of scuffed up marks on walls etc.). Rooms AC sometime worked and sometimes didn't.....luckily i didn't really need it because it was perfect outside. I wish there was complementary breakfast, but having a fridge and microwave in the room was very nice. Shower never got beyond warm. The first day there I noticed a big black fake eyelash by the shower door..(ew)....I thought it was a bug, and assumed the cleaners would pick it up the next morning.....no, it stayed there my entire 5 night stay! There were also real bugs in my room. Lady bugs. One on the wall above the bed and several on the window behind the curtains. Glad it was just lady bugs! "

"Room was not what we expected after reading ratings. Bathroom shower was awful. Two different tiles on the floor and bathtub had brown moldy looking caulking. Everything except countertop was very outdated. We booked for 2 nights but left after 1 night. Sheer curtains over the window actually were tearing had holes in them."

"I have stayed at the Grander twice this year and I would love to get back there again! We were in town to purchase furniture for a new home at Furniture Land South, and staying at the Grandover made the trip so much more enjoyable. The rooms are spacious, the amenities are great including several places to eat, a gorgeous golf course, both indoor and outdoor pool, and a terrific singer in the bar in the evening. The included breakfast was outstanding too!"
