"We had quite a bit of snow during our stay. It was nice to get up and have the sidewalk and the stoop shoveled. We have stayed in this house a couple of years now the host is very welcoming and easy to work with. The only suggestion that I have during the winter months is to get a longer rug by the front door for boots and shoes since the floor is hardwood. "

"I stayed in Nauvoo for 5 nights. Two nights at the Hobbit house and three nights at another place. We only stayed two nights at the Hobbit house because it was so much more expensive. If I had to plan again I would spend the extra and stayed all week. It was all on one level, way cleaner, and had a huge comfortable tub. The charm of the place was sensational. We watched Lord of the Rings in the coziest environment EVER! We brought our daughter who loves the Hobbit movie and she squeezed with delight. The framing / doors / hardware were a work of art."
