Very kind staff. Strong fragrance throughout hotel. carpets in hallway covered in towels and toilet ran all night with a loud screeching sound over and over. Standalone AC or heating unit in room had a drain into a large plastic milk jug. Overall it’s an older hotel with charm but some of these things did not create a good impression. We got to our room late and when we noticed the issues we were too tired to ask to be moved so I did not repot these concerns.

Property was clean and felt homey - blankets were soft. Wish they had make the menus available for order. There was just a menu with a QR code to show what was available but not how to order room services. so that was unclear. Phones did not work, and there was no slipper. I liked that there was a shuttle available to the airport

We at a last minute stop in San Jose and booked the Hyatt last minute. The hotel suited our needs for a one night stay. The room was clean and comfortable. Our initial front desk staff was great! He was friendly, courteous and informative. later in the evening we attempted to eat at the hotel restaurant. I'm not sure there is a restaurant. There were tables and a bar area right next to the front desk. I saw no restaurant staff. The front desk staff asked us to take a seat and he would be right with us. Several other guests were in line waiting hotel service. Needless to say, after 5 or so minutes we went back to our room. We called an uber to eat out. While waiting we noticed that a section of the glass awning, above the main entrance,was shattered. it appeared to be a safety hazard. In summary, it served our purpose for an unexpected overnight but nothing impressive or memorable.

Convenient, right near airport. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Pet friendly.
