Great stay in DURAM, NC

Me and my family enjoyed staying at Trillium 2BR suite @ hillside park. The home was well maintained, providing a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The host was incredibly responsive and attentive to our needs, ensuring our stay was smooth and enjoyable. The amenities were excellent, and the location was perfect, close to all the places we wanted to visit. Overall, it was a wonderful stay!!!

A Home Away from Home

Our visit centered around the Duke University Hospital several very tense days -- Trillium was a welcome place to return to and relax getting ready for the next day Trillium is clean, up to date, very well equipped with everything you need -- we would stay there again

Great long term stay!

I stayed in this property for 14 weeks total. It’s a nice 2 bedroom 1 bath apartment in a quadraplex. Neighbors were nice. Nice backyard for the dog. Very responsive hosts! Definitely recommend.

Duke University Move-In Day

The apartment’s location was great, close to Duke University, to down town and great restaurants. The 2 bedrooms were very accommodating, spacious and clean. We did not use the kitchen but it was well equipped. Shower pressure was great. Overall stay was great.

Communication with Jason was effective. He was very responsive to our requests for fixing of a few issues. Rooms are well-sized and comfortable. Essential kitchen equipmen, pots and pans were available. In particular, vacuum cleaner was there which made it easy to clean up.Neighbourhood is safe. There is a public bus stop within a walking distance of 2 minutes.

Spouse Surgery

My wife had extensive back surgery at Duke. This condo was convenient to the hospital. it was comfortable and clean. I would recommend for anyone having a procedure at Duke Medical. The only issue I had was the price quoted increased as I booked the property.

Left After 45 Minutes — Bugs Everywhere and Still Got Charged

I showed up late at night and immediately noticed bugs all over the place — floors, walls, even near the bed. It was super gross and clearly not cleaned properly.I ended up leaving by 3 a.m., less than an hour after arriving, because there was no way I could sleep there. What really blew my mind was that I still got charged for the night and a cleaning fee — even though I was barely there and the place wasn’t clean to begin with.

What a DUMP in a *sketchy* area

Arrived at this rental after driving for four hours. The rental was not clean. Hair all over the beds and linens. Food stuck to cooking utensils and counter tops. Floors needed to be swept and mopped. Can’t lock the bedroom window, but there is a burglar bar placed over it. The images of this place depicted on vrbo DO NOT match up to what I got. Broken, dinged up furniture, mildew on lamp shades and I was forced to pay an unrefundable “damage” insurance. I contacted the host regarding safety/uncleanliness. He sent a cleaning person over, but there was still toothpaste in the bathroom sink, broken, dusty blinds, hair everywhere. Just disgusting. I asked to pay for one night and the cleaning fee (even though I was only there for two hours) and get a refund for the remainder of the rental period. Host refused. I didn’t want to leave a bad review. I didn’t want to contact vrbo about this. Host refused the refund….SO, if you are looking to rent this property, don’t walk…..RUN to a better location that doesn’t have a musty odor like this one. What is described and depicted in images is not what you will get. In the wise words of Betty Davis “what a dump”.

Extended stay in Durham.

This is a great location and a great place. We ended up extending our stay by almost 2 weeks and where very comfortable. It has a great backyard for those traveling with a pet. Would definitely stay here again!
