Two things important to note: This is a 2nd floor apartment, and we had 3 octogenerians with us; and there is one assigned parking spot and others will be towed. The three visitor spots were taken while we were there, which leaves street parking a ways from the apartment. The apartment is clean and the furniture is comfortable. However, it needs some renovation and repairs (peeling paint on ceiling, sliding door doesn't lock, etc.).They have cable so we could watch TV without logging into our own accounts, which was nice. There have been critical reviews about feeling unsafe, which are unfair. It is not fancy, but we never felt unsafe. Surrounding neighborhood is very nice.

Horrible Location
First I will start off with, Tom was amazing. Very communicative and so sweet! He let us check in early and was great! However, this property is HORRIBLE. It's in a bad part of town, we were literally scared to stay here. We propped a chair up at the door. The windows didn't lock. It was extremely loud. The entire apartment is in need of a massive overall. We had to buy sheets, pillows, and extra towels during our stay. It was me and two of my girl friends that stayed here and we had to have our Uber drivers watch us as we walked into the apartment. It felt like section 8 housing. We literally called this place "murder house" - we were scared for our lives.

This place was located in a condo complex and we had several neighbors give us dirty looks. I had communication with the property owner who argued with me about how many towels and washcloths were on the property and never provided more. I had 6 people staying with me. We found wet dishes, not the cleanest bathrooms, and the rooms also smelled smoky! And some of the lights didn't work properly.
We had a really nice trip. The condo was nice but I was not aware it was an upstairs unit and that was difficult due to my 78 year old husband and 95 year old mother. The unit was clean but needs multiple light bulbs replaced in the permanent fixtures. The TV user instructions would have helped. I felt that a more secure inside door lock would have made me feel safer. The microwave turn table did not work. It would have been nice to have the refrigerator ice maker functional. For a three bedroom unit there should have been more available seating.
Renting was an easy process
Although I requested lower level apartment at the time of booking due to knee surgery, it was not made available after I was told they had one available a week before my stay
Good location great place, toilets had issues one didn’t flush properly and the other had a broken seat kept falling off! Reclining sofa was awesome! Loved the balcony basically lived out there lol.
Worked well for me, good location for me off Hwy1, easy driving with triangle friends to Sanford/Pinehurst. The apartment/condo complex is not eye catching from the outside, but inside was clean and exactly what we needed.

Looks can be deceiving
The pictures online make this rental look new and modern. When we arrived we honestly thought we were in a government housing apartment building. Nothing is new, just painted over a million times to make it seem that way in pictures. One toilet would not flush and constantly ran. The shower dripped and it was very muggy in the place even with fans on. The tv would not get reception as they were internet based and in the unit next to us on the front of the building there were very sketchy men who stayed on their balcony partaking in some illegal smoking all while 4 females were extremely uncomfortable being “watched” by them. The two mamas didn’t sleep a wink because we were so uneasy about where we were with our two teen girls. While the owner tried to be helpful regarding the toilet, we we just extremely uncomfortable with location and the locals that lived in the same apartment complex. Also there needs to be updated everything including LOCKS in the doors and windows. Nothing seemed to lock properly or was very difficult to get to lock.
