Pet friendly but the pet fee of 250 was not noted in property description. The 250 fee was for a 2 night stay; the highest I have ever paid on any VRBO property. I have a 20lb non shedding dog.House was not clean. Dishwasher was full of dishes-very few dishes in the cabinet. No towels in the bathrooms; had to find them in the dryer. Laundry room full of towels and linens; not sure if clean or dirty.Showers were not cleaned and could see water/shampoo stains from previous guests.Outdoor spaces littered with beer cans, cigarette butts. All outdoor furniture disheveled. Dead bugs in window seals, dirty windows. There was only one TV which was in master bedroom downstairs.For the top tier price I paid this property is not up to snuff. Also, the kitchen flooring was raised and one could easily trip and fall.

The owner canceled my reservation with only a few hours notice until check in, which costed my group a lot of money having to find accommodation with such little time. Terrible communicator and should not be allowed to rent any properties.

I recently stayed at this property and was genuinely impressed by how beautiful and thoughtfully designed it was. The space features modern touches throughout and creates a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere.The location is also a huge plus — it’s extremely close to downtown Durham, with everything just a short drive away, which made getting around really convenient.My main concern was the wooden flooring in the kitchen, which appears to have swollen and lifted over time. I understand that fixing this isn’t an easy task, but it’s something guests should be aware of and ideally addressed soon.Aside from that, the other issues were minor and didn’t take away from the overall experience. I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely return — especially once the flooring is repaired.
