"The room was clean. Location was great."

"Overall, this place was just barely OK. Only one of 8 staff we interacted with were friendly, the rest did not seem to care at all that we were there. One afternoon the restaurant staff completely ignored us for 30 minutes and I found them inside chatting and playing on their phones. The air conditioning in our room didn’t work, but when we advised the front desk they first said that was impossible then finally said they would look into it but they didn’t. And possibly because of the open fire in the restaurant, the entire hotel common area smelled of stale food, or worse. Overall this place has potential, but I would not recommend primarily because of the poor service."

"This room was an absolute dream. The room was spacious, modern, clean and had the most beautiful view of the river and the old town. Staff was very sweet and incredibly helpful. It's in the middle of the area with shops, historic landmarks and restaurants. I would absolutely recommend it."

"Very nice hotel in the heart of old Ljubjana. Ask for room #1. Very quiet, well appointed and comfortable. The front desk staff were extremely helpful. There are no elevators but our room was on the ground floor. You are steps away from all the bars and restaurants along the river. They serve a very nice breakfast. We would definitely recommend and we would stay again. I"

"Beautiful property. It’s a vintage property. Large rooms. They need coffee machines in EVERY room (instant coffee is NOT the answer). Staff is wonderful."
