Top Railroad Museum of Long Island Hotel Reviews
North Fork Resort
10/10 Excellent
"The property was very nice, fire pit, bbq per cabin. Also a toaster oven, microwave, full refrigerator, dishes, utensils, etc. roomy cabin with two bedrooms. Enjoyed our stay here. Thank you!"
Harbor Heights
10/10 Excellent
"We enjoyed our 3 day stay at this 2nd floor apartment. It was me and my sister (50’s), and our dad who’s 85. The steps inside to the apartment are steep- they are likely original to the house which is a 2-story Victorian style converted into 2 apartments. I say this to warn anyone traveling with someone with mobility issues- this would not be the house for you. My dad did okay though- we’d go out for the entire day, so he only had to navigate them down and up once. :-) The house location is great- easily walkable to downtown, even for dad (he just kept it slow with his cane). There was a bit of street noise on weekday mornings from trucks waiting in the Shelter Island ferry line which runs along the street in front of the house; it went quickly though. We encountered an issue at checkin and the owner came over to address it immediately. The couch & beds were very comfortable. The kitchen stools/chairs get a fair rating because some of the seat springs are broken and they sunk in. Lots of linens and towels were provided, and there was a pack’n’play we saw in a closet for little ones. We didn’t cook while there so we can’t comment on kitchen equipment. The house also has a few beach chairs for use which was great. Overall it is a clean, renovated apartment in a great close location to downtown, and we’d stay there again."

The Harbor Front Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Perfect location, Clean property with water views, and has a pool. Our room had a balcony which was so nice on a beautiful day while taking a break from it all. The room was very spacious and the front desk staff were very nice. Would stay there again in a heart beat."
The Menhaden
10/10 Excellent
"Definitely stay here! A perfect location, walkable to so many cute restaurants and shops. Beautiful water view from the rooftop. Most comfortable bed and gorgeous, clean room. And the icing on the cake (almost literally!) is the snack room on each floor with fresh baked cookies, fresh juices, chips, candies and more. They make a wonderful espresso martini at the bar too. We hope to be back!"
The SandPiper
