Lovely family holiday villa

We all thoroughly enjoyed the spacious, modern and well equipped villa, beautiful views and relaxing infinity pool. The villa gets the sun all day, great bbq area fir cooking and eating outdoors. The owner Giuseppe was extremely helpful and always available. Views are great but a bit far to walk to the marina, definitely need a car.

Couples vacation

We had wonderful time in a beautiful modern villa with a great location for touring the south east of Sicily. Our host Carmelo provided all the information we needed to plan day trips and made many good restaurant recommendations. Too bad we were here's in February and could not take advantage of the beautiful infinity pool. But we did barbecue some fresh fish we would purchase in the port of Donnalucata. All in all great place to stay

Wir waren 4 Erwachsene und haben unseren Sommerurlaub in den ersten beiden Juliwochen in Marina di Ragusa verbracht. Haus und Pool sind super. Kommunikation mit Carmelo war ebenfalls klasse. Wir hatten einmal Probleme mit der Klimaanlage: Das Außengerät war defekt. Austausch erfolgte sofort. Da waren wir echt beeindruckt! Einzige Kleinigkeit: Geschirr/Gläser nur in Minimalausstattung vorhanden. Das wars aber auch schon. Ansonsten eine schöne Gegend, mit schönen Stränden und erstaunlicherweise nicht überlaufen. War ne tolle Zeit. Wir würden das Haus wieder buchen.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus auf dem Berg gelegen mit Blick aufs Meer. Sehr gepflegt und sauber, schöne Gartenanlage, tolle Terrasse direkt am fantastischen Infinitypool, auch dieser sehr sauber und selbstreinigend. Sehr gute und bedachte Grundausstattung (u.a. Webergrill!). Wir waren als Familie zu viert hier mit 2 erwachsenen Kindern, jeder hatte sein Zimmer.Einzig schwierig war die Zufahrt, hier ist Fahrvermögen von Vorteil;-)

Erholsame Tage

Die Villa war sehr sauber und praktisch eingerichtet. Der Pool super. Wir waren 6 Erwachsene und hatten das so auch gebucht. Leider musste die 6.Person auf einer eher Campingliege übernachten. Das wurde so nicht kommuniziert. Alles in Allem hatten wir einen schönen Aufenthalt und können die Villa empfehlen.

Angenehmer Aufenthalt

Das Haus, der Poolbereich und die Lage waren trotz einiger Baustellen in der Nähe schön. Auch die Kommunikation mit dem Verwalter hat gut geklappt. Alles war sehr sauber und die Ausstattung OK. Den Blick über das nette Marina di Ragusa bis zum Meer haben wir genossen. Nur was tut man dem schönen Sizilien an: marode Straßen, Müll überall verstreut, Bauruinen! Sehr, sehr schade!

We had a nice stay

We can recommend the house - it is comfortable, clean and furnished in a practical way. Check-in and the support of Carmelo were very efficient. The outside area around the pool is nice. What again surprised us in Italy is the rubbish ypu find all along the streets. This is even more surprising since the waste collection system works rather well. A pity how nature is treated, but this has nothing to do with the house.

Disappointed by surrounding building sites.

Amazing villa, really light and spacious with all the amenities provided. The pool is the best pool we have ever had, clean with stunning views in the main. The pool pictures are a little cleverly taken and don’t reveal the rest of the view. The villa has a new addition of a wrap around sun terrace which provides great shade. The sunsets in the evening are spectacular. Before I provide details on the local amenities, I think it’s fair to point out that there is quite a lot of construction work taking place. Next door are in the middle of renovating their villa, we had angle grinding taking place Monday to Saturday, on and off throughout the day. Most days it’s was bearable as it would run for a few minutes, stop for 20mins to an hour then start up again. We did have one day where it was too much and we had to get out to the beach. Below in the valley which is very close is a brand new building site, again not awful, but combined with next door and other digging work taking place it took the edge of the holiday a little after paying so much money. The area is not the prettiest, but the villa makes up for this. It’s situated on a very steep and unpaved road. You can walk to one the pizza restaurant down the hill that takes 15mins to get to, highly recommended on a Sunday, all the seating is outside under beautiful trees and there are lights hanging down everywhere. Great food. The main marina is lovely and at night comes alive with lots of hustle and bustle. Summary- I would have given it 4 out of 5, however the construction was a real shame and whilst we didn’t let it spoil the holiday, some days it took the edge off of being able to relax and enjoy our break. It’s obviously it’s been there for a while and felt a little disappointed that we were not informed.

Modernes Haus mit tollem Pool. In der Küche fehlen ein paar Kleinigkeiten wie Schüsseln oder kleine Behälter. Die Trennwand zwischen den Zimmer ist leider sehr hellhörig. Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt

Excellent, well run villa rental

Villa Castellana is well appointed property in a safe and friendly neighbourhood; the villa is not too fussy and had all we needed for a family of five; the villa is close enough to walk into Marina di Ragusa where there are some excellent restaurants. Our host Carmelo was really helpful and gave us all the information we needed for a perfect stay.

Traumurlaub

Hier bleibt nicht viel zu sagen, außer das das Objekt genau der Beschreibung entspricht. Super sauber, die Aussicht ist ein Traum und trotz der ruhigen Lage ist man mit dem Auto schnell im Zentrum von Marina di Ragusa. Wir haben wunderschöne 14 Tage hier verbracht! 5 Sterne!

Entspannter Sommerurlaub

Ein tolles Ferienhaus in einer schönen Gegend für einen Sommerurlaub in Familie. Nach dem unkomplizierten Checkin genossen wir 14 Tage das Haus, die interessante Gegend, den schönen Pool, die tollen Sandstrände, das nahe und warme Meer usw. Bei allen Fragen und Problemen wurde uns umgehend geholfen. So stellen wir uns entspannten Urlaub vor. Kleine Empfehlung an den Vermieter: Der Kauf von Stühlen für den Außentisch wäre sinnvoll, dann muss man die Innenstühle nicht rein- und rausräumen. Auf Grund des super Wetters, mussten wir nur einmal räumen.

We had an amazing stay in this villa. The location was charming with a fantastic seaview, the pool and garden were also very nice. Wunderschöne Villa

Schicke, moderne, sehr saubere Villa mit einem tollen Pool. 20 Minuten zu Fuß in die Stadtmitte und zum Strand. Cooler Ort mit vielen Restaurants und Cafes, wo das Leben bebt. Der Eigentümer supernett und hilfsbereit. We love Sicily!!!!
