Each season offers the possibility of a different journey: Autumn on Nebrodi, snow on his "majesty" Etna, Spring among the remains of Roman amphitheaters and Norman castles and Summer with a dip in the Faraglioni among the places of the Verga ... to then return and enjoy the peace and tranquility that the small grove in the structure offers you. ...The Refuge of Aitna aims to offer an authentic experience of Sicilian hospitality, a refuge as it may have been for the nymph of Etna: Aitna. It is the ideal place for anyone who wants to get away from the frenetic pace and rediscover calm surrounded by the sciara, uncultivated land generated by old lava flows and dominated by Etna. The structure consists of a rustic kitchen, a living room that finds its fulcrum in a ventilated fireplace, bathroom, a bedroom with a window overlooking a small grove belonging to the structure and a mezzanine with two bedrooms, all furnished with colors and objects that evoke the Sicily of the past. To love Sicily you must understand the Sicilians, a mixed people who founded their roots on ancient classical cultures. And it is inspired by an ancient Greek sacred rite the "xenia" that I want to pay homage to our guests with baskets of fruit and typical sweets.
