Bei der Ankunft mussten wir feststellen, dass wir gar nicht gebucht waren, obwohl wir über expedia eine verbindliche Buchung hatten (aus zu erwarteten Kapazitätsgründen - Ausenik Festival - schon ein Jahr zuvor). Weiters hatten wir die schriftliche Zusage gegen entsprechendes Entgelt ein Upgrade auf eine Suite zu bekommen. Die erste Nacht mussten wir wo anders wohnen. Dann hat sich das Klima beruhigt. Suite war nicht möglich aber wir bekamen statt Standard ein Superior Zimmer ohne Aufpreis. Generell ist das Hotel in Ordnung, würde aber eher 3 Sterne geben. Die Ausstattung ist unseres Erachtens sehr unvorteilhaft (Farbgebung, Design, Teppiche etc.) so dass der Eindruck entsteht, dass es abgewohnt und nicht ganz sauber wäre, was in vielen Bewertungen zu finden ist. Das stimmt aber nicht. Von der Architektur und Umgebung ist das Haus sehr gut gestaltet.

Great Hotel and Location

Loved this hotel! The overall facility was stunning, but the room itself was lacking. The best part was the breakfast buffet, the staff and the location! It's a little out from Lake Bled, but I prefer to be away from the touristy areas! Pros: The hotel has a lot to offer, from the pool and spa to the staff and restaurant! Cons: The bed wasn't very comfortable and the room looked like it needed some regular maintenance. I highly recommend!!!

Mattresses in room - very old and completly - not comfortable. We ordered doublebed and got two single beds with a space between the mattresses.

Perfect Hotel minutes from Bled

The hotel is situated in a scenic valley just some 10 minutes from center Bled .It is a new and modern building with beautiful setting .The room was just perfect ,perfect and the breakfast was excellent .I would not look any further .

Close to Bled but better!

We selected this hotel to be close to Lake Bled while avoiding the crowds and prices. We were so happy with this decision! Only 15-20 minutes away from the lake with the most beautiful and leisurely drive. The staff is super friendly and helpful & the continental breakfast was well stocked. We were so happy with this hotel selection and hope to be back some day.

Worst hotel we ever stayed in our travel experiences. When we arrived at this hotel there was no one to receive us at the front desk, whole hotel looked totally empty, and this hotel is situated out of no where. There is hardly any service available, the girl at the front desk could not speak English!

Relax e natura

Un luogo molto suggestivo circondato dalla natura e fuori dalle zone trafficate, ottimo appoggio per visitare Bled e dintorni! Camera grande bella e pulita, bagno bellissimo! La colazione è veramente ricca, c’è Molta varietà sia di dolce che sei salato e i succhi! Se dovessi tornare nei dintorni non esiterei a tornare in questa struttura, la consigliero anche ai miei conoscenti!

Soggiorno tranquillo

Hotel situato in zona tranquilla, molto piacevole, personale molto cordiale, servizi nel complesso nella norma, la cena di buona qualità e varietà come la colazione. Pulizie sufficienti esempio non è mai stato spazzato il sottoportico e le vetrate del ristorante presentavano sempre le stesse impronte. Se ci fosse per il periodo estivo una piscina esterna sarebbe megio. Nota dolente il letto, piumone corto e materasso vecchio.

Good Clean Hotel

This was a comfortable hotel with spacious rooms. The pool was nice but the hot tub was small and not very hot with weak jets. Bathroom was clean, shower spacious. Unfortunately the toilet uses a hyper-modern square toilet seat that is not designed for any human to use. Check in was easy and staff were decently friendly for a mid-level European hotel. Location was very nice with a great view from the breakfast room and pool.

Schöne ländliche Lage, nette Mitarbeiter. Feines HP Menü (18€ p. P.). Frühstück Angebot könnte frischer sein. Schönes Zimmer, leider Steinhartes, zu niedriges Bett! Schlechtes Schlaf, am Morgen Rücken schmerzen. Hallen Bad sehr gut, leider aus dem Fittnessraum wurde Sitzungszimmmer gemacht. Gratis Parkplätze.

Very nice staff, a/c issue seems common

Hotel advertisement claims it has a/c and heat , however a/c is turned completely in September however it gets hot inside and there is no way to cool off.

Nice clean modern hotel

Overall, good, in quiet and open countryside. Breakfast was our best so far in Slovenia. Not sure why but beds were quite low. Sliding door to bathroom kept going off its rail so we had to keep lifting the door back on. Room clean. Shower in large bathroom was great with a few options of rain shower, massage sprays and hand shower. Would stay again. Wanted to try their buffet dinner but we could not get a table as they were fully booked.

Se ofrece como "Chateau" pero es un hotel moderno Habitaciones espaciosas y limpias . Ducha incomoda porque solo dispone de un mango lineal que esparcia el agua. Ubicación algo alejada de la principal atraccion de la zona (lago Bled)

Very nice hotel

A very nice hotel in a beautiful setting. Our room and en suite were both very spacious. The staff couldn't have been more kind and helpful and the food was varied and nicely presented. We would thoroughly recommend, particularly if looking for a quiet and peaceful retreat.

Beautiful hotel out in the country

Had a very nice, relaxing day at this hotel. This is a very nice hotel, with good food and nice amenities. The local area around the hotel is quite peaceful; away from all the tourists in nearby Bled. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Nice country side, modern hotel.

The staff is lovely there and incredibly helpful. The one thing to note is that this hotel is NOT in Bled. Perhaps we were the only ones who didn't put enough effort into mapping it out, but it's 15 min away and a $20 Euro taxi ride each time. It's still in a nice setting itself, just not ideal if you're staying here to see Lake Bled. The other thing we missed was a kettle in our room to make our own tea, but honestly other than that, we had a great stay and the facilities are great. The Chateau itself is stunning and the hotel is feels brand new.
