This is a boutique hotel with only a few rooms in a fabulous position in the village of Donja Lastva, about one mile from Tivat, right on the waterfront overlooking Boka Bay. Cleanliness is excellent and the reception staff speak good English and are exceedingly helpful. It is a 19th century two storey building and has no lift so this should be borne in mind for those with limited mobility. There are two restaurants in the village one of which, Punto Crudo, is connected to the hotel and provides an excellent free breakfast to hotel guests. Dinner is served from 5.00 pm and the food is of a good international standard although the menu is limited. Big Ben restaurant is about 700 metres away towards Tivat. This is a lively, noisy restaurant which should appeal to younger people. There are numerous restaurants a little further on in Tivat at various price levels and are just a short taxi ride away. There are minor inconveniences like no local taxis near the hotel (they are called to the hotel from Tivat); no snacks, just drinks, are available at the hotel between 11.00 am and 5.00 pm but the excellent breakfast should see one through the day. I recommend this hotel for those who enjoy peaceful surroundings and the ability to swim in the sea directly from the hotel quay.

Great location and fantastic staff. Bathroom could be a bit better.

Excellent hotel, great location just a short walk from the main area, yet far enough to be a peaceful location. Breakfast was magnificent but didn’t dine here on an evening, it seemed very quiet, Hotel overall was very clean, good facilities with some lovely touches. However, one of these lovely touches was a beautifully presented box of chocolates on arrival. I popped back to the room during breakfast one day to pick up a cardigan and found the housekeeping staff eating the box of chocolates, they weren’t replaced. That left a sour taste and doubt around trustworthiness. Obviously valuables were kept in the safe but I had a rethink and put nicer items of clothing back into a locked suitcase. A shame really, as everything and everyone else was faultless.
