"The property was beautiful and the hosts were very helpful! It was the perfect spot for a getaway with friends! The location was perfect as it was a short drive from town and right on a gorgeous lake, where we had access to canoes and kayaks. We went on a few gorgeous hikes around the area (Whiteside Mountain, High Falls, and Rainbow Fallls at Gorges National Park). I highly recommend staying here, and I can’t wait to book my next trip!"

Lake Chatuge Lodge

8/10 Good

"The staff were excellent. They were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was okay but could be better by not limiting it to continental breakfast on weekdays and adding more fruit options."

Kingwood Resort

8/10 Good

"Kingwood Resort is an excellent place if you want to get away from it all and avoid interruptions from the outside world; it is a peaceful retreat. However, when I made my reservation, No television cable and entertainment options in room. Unfortunately, issues with the internet and Wi-Fi connection made it impossible to enjoy these features—which are quite important to some of us—even during my one-day stay. The property itself is very clean, quiet, and peaceful. In my view, if they cannot provide a functional cable or internet connection—to the point where one cannot even watch a movie or check the news—then such services should not be listed among their amenities or offerings. Thank you.
