This place well deserves its excellent ratings. Beautifully rehabbed, great staff. Loved the pool and the wi-fi. The restaurant is very good. Location is excellent, very near the Ouidaya Kasbah, which is not to be missed. When we decided to go on to Casablanca by car, they found a very nice driver who spoke quite good French. We were really pleased. Just one thing we noticed: the cabbies at the Rabat train station seemed unfamiliar with the location of the hotel. I'm sure the folks at the hotel can provide some directions that will be helpful if you have to take a cab.

Pretty Riad, well located in the Medina. Having a roof top pool is nice after a long day of walking the streets of Rabat. Good breakfast. Friendly and welcoming staff.

Dar Shaan is a beautiful Riad Located right in the Medina.! Antoin the owner is great as well as his staff. They made us feel right at home. We had a great time there even though we lost our little Bella (dog) while in Morocco , They even refunded us the unused portion of my daughters stay, as she had to fly back home early! We would definatly stay there again! Thanks so much:)

Great Hotel in good location (you can easily walk everywhere), with a lovely roof terrace and very attentive staff. Rooms are comfortable and have everything you need. We didn’t have dinner, but the breakfast was really good with fresh fruits, coffee, pancakes, egg and many more. Highly recommended!

Dar Shaân is a beautiful Riad; it felt like living in paradise. Spacious rooms, multiple terraces, delicious breakfast and dinner food, amazing massages (and hammam, though I didn't try it), great rooftop pool. Maybe the best part was the friendly, welcoming staff! They went to every extreme to make our stay as comfortable, relaxing, and fun as possible. Would definitely come back!

An incredible Riad, in a perfect location. The rooms are stunning, the hosts are wonderful, and the breakfast is amazing. Dar Shaan is truly an oasis in Rabat, would stay here again anytime.
