The stay was pretty average overall. I had booked a king room, but was given a room with two double beds instead. The bathroom also had noticeable mold in the shower, which was disappointing. The hotel itself was fine, but considering the room type I booked and the condition of the bathroom, I expected a little more. Nothing was particularly bad beyond that, but overall it was just an average stay.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The complimentary transfers from and to the airport were useful. Transfers to the airport were only on an hourly basis.
The buffet breakfasts were varied with plenty of options and opened early at 0500 hr or earlier on some days. The evening buffet dinner and show was entertaining with a wide variety of food.
Our room was spacious but I did find the closet to be on the small size. Bathroom was also spacious with a bathtub. Water pressure and temperature were no problems. Coffee maker, kettle, safe, and fridge worked well. TV worked well and was easy to use. Wi-Fi was easy to connect and reliable.

"The Ecolodge Don Felix was a comfortable place to stay while touring in Quillabamba. It’s set in a beautiful spot by the river that is wonderful to listen to through the night. We enjoyed the pool and watching the chickens roaming the site during our stay."
