"Great place to stay. We used some of the poles that were there and the extra freezer was perfect for freezing our salmon from the day. The host was super responsive and helpful. Also had some folding camp chairs to use."

"It was a nice lodge. Recently renovated. The bed was a little too hard for our liking. Common area was nice. The sitting area outside was inviting. We didn’t use the kitchen area but it looked well stocked."

"We had a fantastic stay! The house was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable for our group. The kitchen was one of the highlights—it was exceptionally well stocked with pots, pans, cooking utensils, and even a great selection of spices, making it easy to prepare meals. The backyard was beautiful, and having the Kenai River just steps away was incredible. Sterling was a great home base for exploring the Kenai Peninsula while still enjoying a quiet, relaxing setting. We would definitely stay here again!"
