"This is a great boutique resort ideal for couples. Those with kids may find other places a better fit (El Silencio for example). Intimate room setups with private hot tubs, excellent restaurant with live music during dinner, and a very nice pool setup for relaxing. The beds were super comfy and staff was wonderful. No view of the volcano but there is a sloth that lives up in one of the trees. For those looking for an intimate, relaxing setting, this is a great spot."

"I recently stayed at your property and wanted to share some feedback regarding my experience. While the overall stay was pleasant, I found that the customer service could have been better. Several amenities that were promised as part of the package, such as breakfast and an airport shuttle, were not provided. Additionally, the pool area is in need of maintenance. I believe honest reviews are important to help future guests make informed decisions and to improve the quality of service. I hope this feedback is helpful and that these issues can be addressed to enhance the guest experience."

"Booked a “premium suite” and paid a premium price for a suite that has no dedicated shower. The shower is a handheld inside a huge jacuzzi tub with no shower curtain! Your bathing options are to fill and drain an enormous spa size tub or slip & slide on uneven jacuzzi seats spraying water everywhere. The hotel response “you booked a jacuzzi suite”. Apparently not an issue they fail to mention the suite has no shower. The grounds are nice but the rooms and resort are dated and frankly this “premium” suite and tub/shower is a joke. Management called to offer a different room at 8pm on our last night … a but late. Friends traveling in our group had a similarly dated non-premium suite … but at least their unit had a proper shower! This is a 3 star resort at best and if you like a shower be sure to confirm what you’re getting or better yet stay elsewhere."

"Property was nice, exceeded expectations. Rooms were cute with each room separate cabins. Property is smaller than it looks in the pictures, and is a bit towered over by a hotel next door. Direct view of volcano. Restaurant was beautiful with lots of birds. Breakfast was great (didn’t try any other meals there). Hot springs were much nicer than in the pictures. "

"My wife and I just wrapped up four very special days at the Hotel Sanctuarium, and I cannot recommend it enough. Since the hotel is so new and doesn't have many reviews yet, we weren't entirely sure what to expect, but I am so glad we took the chance! ​From the moment we arrived until the second we left, the experience was nothing short of amazing. The staff is truly exceptional; they are so warm and welcoming that we felt both appreciated and completely spoiled throughout our entire stay. ​Highlights of Our Stay: ​The Dining: The meals were incredible. We enjoyed breakfast every single morning and had dinner at the restaurant twice. Each meal was a delight! ​The Grounds: Everything is kept immaculate. There is a dedicated bird-watching area with a large variety of species to spot, which was such a treat. ​The Amenities: The pool features a heated side with a swim-up bar that was the definition of relaxing. We also loved the path leading down to a serene river; it’s the perfect, quiet spot to swim and unwind. ​Location: You couldn't ask for a better spot. It’s located just down the road from the waterfall and 10 minutes from the heart of LA Fortuna, making it a very convenient home base. ​If you are considering a stay in La Fortuna, do not hesitate to book this gem! "We absolutely loved our stay Casa Luna. We didn’t make time to use the spa or massages but the stay and breakfast was wonderful. The only complaint we had was how hard the bed was in the junior suite. Pure Vida!"
