"We loved it the stay . enjoy the lake view and the walking trail. There was not enough eating places. That was open while we were there . The hotel breakfast was great. Clean rooms and the staff was great."

"Under new ownership! We stayed in one of the chalets. Very cute place. Perfect for couples. GREAT location! So close to Main St. Waynesville, and a very short drive to Maggie Valley. It is an older place, but has such adorable character and charm! Roomy / spacious. Grounds are in need of minor attention. Renovations are happening. Gorgeous remodeled shower! It would be nice to be able to open the windows, as you feel like you're in a tree house. The shade is wonderful! The sleeper sofa was extremely uncomfortable to sit on long enough to watch a movie, but not something that would keep me away. There is some local traffic noise, but not extremely disturbing. There is a gas fireplace (which we didn't use, out of season). The king bed was nice. A little hard, but not uncomfortable. Our chalet was turned in a way that you felt you had privacy. We viewed the rooms with the rock walls and the look and vibe they give is just charming! I am looking very forward to seeing the upgrades and renovations! They mention new units....! We never had a conversation with a live person, nor did we see anyone. Check in was all done through texts / emails."

"This hotel is 100 years-old. It is a comfortable, quaint, calm place to stay. The employees were fantastic at helping us. Parts of the hotel have an old-world elegance. But you have to be prepared for a room that is very basic and not what you would find in a modern corporate facility. Loved the calm atmosphere, would be happy to stay there again."

"Tiny house cabin. Loft isn't a room really so we didn't use it. But, had a awesome porch and hot tube. Relaxing and quiet space. Had a lovely time."

"Basic place to stay but to sit and watch the creek at your back door was so relaxing . The staff did accommodate any of our needs and again the listening to the creek was all I wanted and it was amazing"

"Spent a few days at Dream Cabin. It's a cute quiet getaway spot perfect for 2 people to use as a base to explore the area. Hot tub was perfect and we had everything we needed. Thank you!"

"Exceptionally clean room. Kind, helpful staff. Nice, hilltop view from the rocking chair on the front porch. Loved the vintage touches left in the updates. Reminds us of traveling when we were kids. Would definitely stay again. Glad to support a local business. Convenient to everything."
