About this property

A cozy apartment in the Harz Mountains for lovers of half-timbered towns and castles

  • Stylishly and modernly furnished, our holiday rental offers a lovely home away from home during your short getaway in the Harz Mountains! Hikes into the Selke Valley or Bode Valley, as well as rides on the narrow-gauge railway, are accessible right from here. The surrounding area is also ideal for cycling, whether for long rides through the flat Harz foothills or challenging mountain bike tours into the mountains. A local speciality bike rental shop provides all the necessary gear and also offers guided bike tours.
Not only is the popular half-timbered town of Quedlinburg—a World Heritage Site—a magnet for tourists, but Wernigerode, Stolberg, the Brocken, and the many castles and fortresses clustered close together are also definitely worth a visit!
If you prefer a bit more action, you’ll get your money’s worth at the Rappbode Dam or in the Bode Valley, where you can ride a summer toboggan run, take a cable car or zipline, or dare to cross a suspension bridge. We recommend booking breakfast at Café Froschkönig!
