Good staff, good breakfast and the upgrade to cooked breakfast was only $15. Rooms are dated, but good, clean, well furnished. Bathroom could use an update but was totally fine. Good location to shops, botanic gardens, restaurants. Good parking too.

Host was very friendly. Room was clean and tidy and bathroom spotlessly clean. The furnishing was a bit strange with old fashioned furniture and general decor did not match very well. Mattress was a bit firm but fine. Everything was well maintained and the location was pretty good, only about a 20-30 minute walk to Cataract Gorge and about 4 blocks to city centre. Good value for money.

I really liked the room and the location. What I didn’t like was the constant noise of kids running around, yelling and thumping around in the halls and rooms. The first night was really quiet, the second was bad. Maybe we were just unlucky.
