"What a beautiful place to stay! We had 9 of us for a family reunion and this house fit everyone very comfortably. The huge windows facing the beach were fantastic and the stairs to the beach easy to get up and down. Led straight from the house to the beach. The beach itself was stunning. Just a short walk down the beach was a rocky area which at low tide had lots of starfish, sea cucumbers and sea urchins to view. There was a hose to clean off your feet before going inside and in warmer weather, an outdoor shower for washing down after swimming. The house was clean and the beds were exactly as stated and very comfortable. The kitchen was huge and the dining table had more than enough room for all of us. There was a room upstairs that served as a great game room with lots of games included and a view to die for. Our only hiccup was the BBQ wouldn’t heat up enough to cook our burgers. Took them inside and the stove top fan didn’t work either. But lots of fans in the house to push out the smoke so it all worked out fine. We would highly recommended this house for anyone wanting a beautiful house by the beach."

"We spent 6 nights in the house with my husband, 11 year old son, my mother in-law, father in-law & myself. Here are a list of pros & cons.CONS:1. The A/C was inadequate for the house size. There was a mini split in the living room & upstairs master bedroom. The upstairs unit did not cool the room down. The downstairs bedroom & other upstairs bedroom had no a/c and so my son slept on the couch downstairs all week because his upstairs room was too hot. 2. The inside house was not cleaned adequately. The floors were dirty & there were dust bunnies in all the corners. Also, I found a broom but no dustpan so picking up the dirt was not easy. The outside deck was covered in pine needles & an old tree over the deck had branches falling onto the deck. The hot tub was to the side & not on the deck & was surrounded with pine needles & had some on top of the cover.3. The stairs inside going up were extremely steep & hard to go up & down. This needs to be stated clearly in the house description. 4. The gas top burner was broken on the front left side & not usable & there were no hot pads for cooking. We used towels instead.5. It was stated there would be bikes but we found none. Also, the storage sheds where kayaks & equipment were stored was filthy.PROS:1. The view outside was beautiful & it was very quiet and remote.2. The customer service & communication during payments and key code email was great!We enjoyed our trip but felt misled by the pics online & was overpriced."

"Cabin is huge and very very cool. The huge log timbers are all exposed and really a feat of engineering. There's no need for A/C, it was 90 outside and very comfortable inside. The location was very private. The cabin, very clean and pretty much perfect, a professional VRBO home. The river had a bit of a current, we put in our rafts at the nearby state park, then got out at our cabin, we floated for under 1.5 hours, which was good for us. The BBQ grill was great. The riverfront was pretty, but it's really deep and not a good place to jump in, my opinion. The area on river was full of goose poops and really needed a platform or dock on the bank. We fished but with no luck, as late in the year (august) water temps aren't great for the trout bite. Host is very nice and accommodating."
