"This accommodation was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and well situated. The bed was so comfy, and we appreciated having the sofa as an alternative to just sitting on the bed. "The property itself is lovely, well maintained, and picturesque. The staff were helpful and provided a wonderful breakfast. I don't know if this was typical, but there was a neighborhood dog that barked constantly, all night long. "A bit confused by all of the reviews. Whilst the service was great, we got in quite late but there was a 24 hour check-in. The room was quite small and the bed was quite uncomfortable. The swimming pool was also empty (no water) do it did not look like the images in the hotel. Maybe we were just there in the wrong day but the pictures don’t reflect the stay we had for the rooms or pool area."

"Extremely clean place. Super helpful people at the reception. Lots of options to eat out and drink. Family friendly. Very thoughtful management to accomodate with an apartment fit for todlers. "The receptionist Alicia was very nice and polite, however I did not enjoy my stay. The hotel is very old and run down. It was noisy and the bed sheets were wet with stains on them. It was so loud and noisy , especially in the morning, as there is construction going on right in front of it. Breakfast was not great and the utensils were dirty. On the second morning we did not have electricity for a while. Luckily we only stayed 2 nights. "

Sazan (definite Albanian form: Sazani; Italian: Saseno; Latin: Saso; Ancient Greek: Σάσων) is an island inside the Mediterranean Sea in southern Albania. It is the largest island in Albania and strategically located between the Strait of Otranto and the entrance to the Bay of Vlorë, forming the border between the Adriatic and Ionian Sea. The island has a surface area of 5.7 km2 (2.2 sq mi) with a length of 4.8 km (3.0 mi), width of 2 km (1.2 mi) and a coastline of about 15 km (9.3 mi). In addition to being the largest island in Albania, it is a military zone and sometimes in clear weather it may be seen by eye from the coast of Salento, Italy in the west. The island was open to the public in July 2015. 2,721.87 hectares (6,725.9 acres) of the territory of the island's surrounding marine area became part of the Karaburun-Sazan Marine Park in 2010.
